The more I love
The more I am loved;
The more I am loved
The more I am able to love.

Luna comes to live with us from tomorrow. It is a privilege when an animal enters your life. I’m really looking forward to getting to know her.
I’ve experienced many synchronicities with different people this last week. Yesterday was peppered with heartfelt messages and warm, jovial conversations. A day of bright communication. I wonder if it is anything to do with the meteor shower?
I heard somewhere that the Perseid meteor shower is especially bright points of consciousness that we can pick up on if we open ourselves to them. I was able to look every night but I saw only one – a brief but solid streak of light. It’s interesting how shooting stars fill anyone who sees them with a special kind of hope.
Today is the 44th anniversary of Woodstock, An Aquarian Exposition, as it said on the poster. I love the documentary of the festival – the music is incredible – and watching it again last night, I was struck by how many times I heard the word, ‘Freedom’.
So now I’ve been thinking about Freedom all day and what it means. Can anyone ever truly say they are ‘free’? However we inch forward, it still seems a cause worth supporting.
This week in Japan is traditionally a time to pay your respects to your ancestors, as they return to visit those they once loved. I wish we could summon the Spirit of Woodstock and infuse all of humanity with that peaceful, loving vibration.

How lucky you are to have another dog come into your life…I always think that a dog or a cat in the house keeps the fun and the love perpetually bubbling and flowing the way it does in a house with tiny children.

Yes Valerie! I think you are right. And since I wrote that post I have inherited two more dogs, bringing the total now to three! At least looking after them all keeps me out of mischief! Hope you are well.

I love that quote. Just like everything else, love also follows the cyclical path. More I suppose from the aspect of ‘Who we are’ rather than ‘What we do’.

Thank you Shakti for reading and replying. I love what you say and believe you are right. It is not ‘what we do’ but the way in which we do it, which is of course, about ‘who we are’. Blessings to you.

I so appreciated reading this tonight. The “soul family we are here to find”. More and more I find myself longing for and connecting with members of my soul family. i shall continue to be mindful of this search.

Thank you Joss for taking the time to read and reply. Finding soul family is an intrinsic part of our journey I believe. I hope your search continues to bear fruit and bring you into contact with those you are meant to find. Remember, they may not realise it but they are also looking for you x

So Jaq, you’ve been gifted with reminders of your evolutionary standing. Good. We humans never stop needing those reminders.
And what a shot of three little cuddlers. Dogs keeps coming into my radar. No, Amy!
Speaking of synchronicity, after messaging you about family resemblances, I took action and found a cousin (on FaceBook) – the one who looks like you. She’s such a creative person – works with fabrics – and has all sorts of photos of her dog. I hope to hear back from her. Her father, my uncle, divorced this cousin’s mother. Mother must have been badly hurt. Many years later, after a Celebration of Life for this departed uncle, I approached her to say hello. When I told her I was her niece, Amy, she said, “I don’t have a niece Amy.” and walked away.
So I have no idea how deep the “divorce” attitude has spread. I have to believe my uncle would have spawned offspring who would think for themselves.
There may be something to the ancestors coming to us this week…

Thank you Amy! And how right you are – we just never stop needing those reminders. I feast on them actually, when they come. I love being reminded! It gives me such a positive boost.
Families are funny aren’t they. Thrown together by accidents of birth, these connections seem to place all sorts of funny expectations onto people. I believe we exist in circles of families. The smallest is our immediate family. We should make ourselves very aware of these people, as we chose them to headline the beginning of this particular reincarnation. Then there is the wider circle of blood relatives. We may or may not connect deeply with these. Then there is the soul family we are here to find. And finally, the whole circle of humanity is really just one big family.
If your cousin resembles me in more ways than just looks, she will open her heart to you Amy. Well done for reaching out. It’s never too late x
